The firm exists to provide rigorous analytics and AI services to organizations that need their data systems to be trustworthy, maintainable, and honest. We work with clients across enterprise, institutional, and mission-driven environments, where the stakes of clear reporting are highest and the tolerance for opaque or unreliable systems is lowest.

We measure the quality of an engagement not by the sophistication of its deliverables but by whether the client can operate and extend the system confidently after we are gone.

William Alston is a data and analytics professional based in Washington, DC. His experience includes enterprise analytics work across complex institutional environments, where he has developed dashboard systems, data pipelines, and analytical infrastructure for communications and operational reporting. His technical work spans Microsoft Power BI, AWS Redshift, Python, large language model pipelines, and on-premises data gateway infrastructure in enterprise environments.

Before entering the analytics field, William studied communication studies, a background that continues to inform his approach to how analytical information is received, interpreted, and acted upon by executive audiences. His work draws on rhetoric, information design, and the study of how evidence travels through organizations.

He maintains independent research and technical projects, including pantherskin.org — a bilingual digital edition of a 12th-century Georgian epic poem — and is the founder of PiqCue, an adaptive learning platform under development at Alston Analytics.
